How to make money from online surveys etc?

Author: Ive just been made redundant and i have a lot of free time on my hands. Can you make money from answering surveys or is it a load of crap? Ive tried a few sites but its pointless redirecting, giving your name and adress over n over again……Is this just a myth and a stunt?
I’ve visited and participated in various sites where people can make money and was most annoyed by how many of them used "employees" as spam mules. For example, Cash Crate requires its people to pass out their email addresses like they’re candy, and though people might make a couple of dollars here and there for their efforts, no one compensates them for the amount of spam their email (or alternately managed email) address receives.

Maybe someone, somewhere, at sometime, made a few bucks off them but in my personal experience I have never found one that would make you enough to supplement any sort of steady income. Most just want your email address or mailing address to slam you with junk. I think if it were really that easy to make money online, there would be a lot more job openings around the country because everyone would be quitting their job to sit on the couch all day. I know I would!

There are definitely scams and there are some that aren’t like Pineconeresearch, e-Rewards, your2cents, and socratic tech forum. I got product tests and survey checks and PayPal payments from them.

Sorry to hear about your redundancy.
It *is* possible to make good money filling in surveys on your computer from home. I know a few people who do just that and if I wasn’t already too busy I would probably do the same. Unfortunately, it can be a nightmare to find high-paying, legitimate companies.
You will hear *loads* of people complaining that it’s all a scam because they tried a couple of dodgy companies once and it didn’t work out, or that they spent a month filling surveys and got a fiver!
While there are a few good individual companies you could sign up with, I would recommend biting the bullet and paying a small amount to get a guide on the subject.

I know it might seem counter-intuitive to *pay* money for something when what you actually want to do is *make* money! But, you’ve got nothing to lose. If the product doesn’t help you can get a refund.

to be honest mate it quite hard to make money from survey sites and things like that. because who is going to pay for your infomation when someone can just ring you up and ask you a few questions over the phone.
if you want to make a bit of money the try this, every time you search the internet you get paid for your searches and if you want to get your friends involved then you get paid on your friends searches as well

Unfortunately there are many, many scams out there regarding "getting paid" for doing online surveys. So I decided to do some serious research and finally get to the bottom of this once and for all…
I found a review site that actually checks out hundreds of these survey sites. It seems that there are only a handful of sites that are for real (100% ligit).
So yes, there really are some survey sites that allow anyone to get paid for their time, with real paychecks… And yes, you do have to spend some time (it can be tedious), but it’s really worth it if you need to make some extra cash and have the time to do it (making a full-time income is actually possible too).
Be selective about the site you go with – Do the research.

You can make money from doing surveys but not very much for the amount of work and time that you have to put into it. This is the website that I use to make money and it’s very easy to do and will make you tons of cash. Just click on the link and fill in a little information and you’re all set for life.

Do not waste your time on online surveys. A lot of them are scams and you will never make much. I have found a couple of free sites to join where you can use there tools such as amazon and ebay modules on pages of content you create to earn income. You also get a share of the advertising. Check out

Referrals add up fast. For example, if you refer 5 people to Global Domains International. That pays you $5.00 per month. You won’t get much money at all from any kind of online work. That is If you are doing the work yourself. The thing is to have other people work for you, but doing your good amount of work will increase your paycheck amount. Referrals. That’s all I have to say. Join a good site like the PTC http://wordlinx.com/?r=126156 and then get other people to sign up under your referral address and you get a portion of all that they do. This is the only way to get any real money. So basically it will start out slow but when you get about 10 referrals things start heating up. But I must warn you never to pay a fee to join a website.
