Are there any ways to make money online that actually work?

I have done quite a bit of searching and I have run into a lot of sites that say they can make me a lot of money. They all seem like scams though. Is there any site that will actually make me money online?

I make a living online, last month I made a little better than $14k. I rarely work more than four hours in a day, my average is probably closer to two.

That all said, I am the exception. Most people do not make a very good living working from home.

When I got started, I was using http://www.eIance.com to find projects that I could do for pay. More recently I found that http://www.scriptIance.com is a very good place to find work without the higher fees that elance has.

Nowadays, I am past looking for work as I have been doing this long enough that work just comes to me. But before you make a name for yourself, you need to use a site like one of the above to get going.

There are of course other ways to make money online, like affiliate marketing. Marketing is fantastic, but you need to either be very lucky, or really know what you are doing.

Don’t do Project Payday, its just a scam.

I tried it and nothing happened but that I got a bunch of junk emails and when I complained I was told that I just didn’t do it right. So I had a friend try it too and she didn’t make any moeny either.

    Hello
These days everyone wants to have a work-at-home job as an additional source of income. I see everywhere online, ads for data entry jobs that allow you to work at home but this is not all the appealing. Who wants to crunch numbers all day? Therefore, most people are not interested in that.

So how do you make money with a website or blog? You have to write tons of highly valuable and targeted content. This requires time, effort and creativity. The problem with doing business online is that you have to get traffic to your business.

Since you’re in cyberspace, it is not like renting a building on the street corner of the busiest street in town. You have to know how to get free traffic from the search engines and use other traffic finding techniques out there.

Here are some examples of online businesses:

    1) Informational Websites or Blogs
    2) Online Stores
    3) Forums or Social Networking Sites
    4) Capture pages for your brick and mortar businesses
    5) MLM (Multiple Level Marketing) Businesses
    6) Referral Programs

Building a website, blog, forum or social networking that gets tons of traffic is one of the most efficient and lucrative small business opportunities on the web. You provide valuable content to your visitors and make money when they click on your ads or affiliate links. This takes time but it is well worth the reward if you stick to it and know it isn’t going to be a money making venture over night.

You could also build an online store but unless you have a huge marketing budget to promote your store, you might want to leave this alone. The future for online stores lies in "Niche Stores". Basically, you find a product that you know a lot about and you only sell that product. People that are searching for that particular product will find your site much easier. People that are shopping in general are 1000 times more likely to go to sites that they are familiar with and trust such as Wal-Mart and Amazon.com

Never pay money to make money when you’re just starting out. That will knock 90% of sites offering to make you easy money online out of the running right there. When you’re more experienced, you’ll be better able to tell who’s a scammer pushing an illegal pyramid scheme or even just a legitimate online businessperson who’s trying to sell you a $49.95 ebook full of information that’s available free elsewhere.

If you want to make real money online, you also have to expect to treat it like a real job. There are ways to earn passive "income while you sleep!!!" but they take time and effort to build up.

The best ways to legitimately make money online include:

    * blogging: http://www.problogger.net/
    * writing for revenue-sharing websites: http://www.writewhatyoulove.com/
    * starting a niche site to earn ad revenue or sell affiliate products
    * becoming a freelance writer, editor, web designer, programmer, etc.: http://www.getafreelancer.com/ (among others)
    * selling your crafts or designs on websites such as ebay, etsy, and Cafepress
    * buying used things cheaply at garage sales, Goodwill, etc. and reselling them on ebay, Craigslist, etc.

I use an email reader called hits4pay… its so simple, you get paid to receive and read advertising emails. It’s completely free, and you get a $10 check just for signing up… no strings attached! Let me know if you have any questions!

It’s definitely not a "get rich quick" scheme, but its fairly easy to get a nice check of $50 or $60 a month. I’m a college student, and it’s been quite a blessing for me.

There are, but there are also lots of scams. Be aware of the sites that claim you will become rich within days. These are SCAMS!

You need to really work hard to make money online. The most popular way is usually through affiliates and Adsense. You can start a blog (for free at Blogger.com), and update it daily with content that you enjoy. Eventually, you can add an affiliate or Adsense, and then have the potential for earning money. Don’t give up!

    Hey,
I came across a guy on a marketing forum that is coaching 10 people for free on one of his very successful methods. I took his coaching yesterday and I was blown away. I started applying it last night and made 90$ so far! If you are interested he might still be open.

Yes. I made my first $159 within 6 hours of implementing the tactics from this program. I tried for 9 months and wasted literally thousands of dollars learning how to make money online and getting nothing in return.

Wealthy Affiiiate is good, too. Kyle and Carson are awesome, but the stuff this guy teaches gets you money much, much faster, like in days, sometimes hours. Not weeks and weeks of waiting.

This guy doesn’t just tell you how and where to sell affiliate products, but he also tells you what actually sells and makes you money online. It’s all video teaching. It’s awesome. You watch him go to the websites online, and how to fill out an account for a certain program. He gives you reasons why you do things a certain way. I’ve never seen any guru do anything like this, and I’ve been through a lot of gurus.

You might want to check out his site. Recommend that you take a look at videos 2 and 4 in particular. See if it’s your thing.

I promote gold and silver. The product will never be worthless. And I will teach you for free how to market online for people that ask questions like

“Are there any ways to make money online that actually work??”

That’s how I found you. You have to know how to find people looking for opportunities. Chances are pretty good you are looking for a new opportunity, correct???. I can also show you how to find people that ask “I’m looking to make more money at home.” You got to hit em where they (other MLMers) aint. It doesn’t matter what business your in, you HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO MARKET!!!!!!

These are my 4 rules to test whether a network marketing company is genuine.

#1 Do they make guarantees or promises or even outlandish claims as to how much money you will make. Any claim of immediate success or :”you will be rich in 6 months” should make you run for the hills. In fact, I would run far if any one of them made any claim as to how much money you can make in a specified period of time.

#2 Do a thorough background on the leaders of the company. Find out their experience. I even went so far as to find out where they live. In the US thats all public information. Ask yourself this question “Do I want to join an MLM with leaders that live in a $50,000 house or leaders that live in a multi-million dollar mansion? ” (I’m not implying to not associate with people who live in $50,000 homes, All I am saying is join a company with successful, proven leaders). A persons current life style is a pretty darn good indication as to how much money they make and if they are successful. The 3 leaders in my MLM company have several years of actually setting up and consulting hundreds of mlm companies world-wide. That’s proven leadership. Many companies hired them to consult so if they had a bad reputation I don’t think they would get that much business.

#3 There are rules and regulations governing conduct of MLM companies and their reps. DOES THE COMPANY HAVE A COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE FOLLOWING THESE RULES. My company has one of the top marketing /compliance leaders in the world and the first thing you see when you join is the compliance video. Thats a pretty darn good indication they follow the rules.

#4 Who’s endorsing the company? This is another biggie. My MLM is endorsed by one of the top coin collectors in the US. He sold over $125,000,000 in numismatic coins last year. IN A RECESSION!! He is a leader in the company and an expert Numismatist. I highly doubt a person of his stature would jeopardize his reputation with a shady MLM company.

Hope this helps. And good luck!!
