Being unemployed I have been looking for something to earn extra income to just help pay the bills. Obviously  being unemployed my budget is very small almost non existent. I started a blog about what I have found and what works and what does not. And you will not believe what I found. By the way I did the 20 streams of income ?!? I am still waiting that was months ago and I am still waiting for 1$

Making some legit online money could never be more welcome to more of us than right now. The trouble is that, at a time when job security means you’ve got one until the end of the month, the world and his cat want to make some extra cash.

4. Build your own business model. Test, test and test again.

1. If your looking for inspiration for your business then I strongly suggest that you start by looking inside yourself. Now you may think nobody’s interested in what you think or know. But consider this. You know how to do things that I don’t. Do you know how to knit or how to plumb in a sink ? Can you fix an outboard motor or train a horse? Whatever it may be I am sure there is plenty of knowledge you possess that others would pay to find out. Developing your own information products based upon your own knowledge could be very lucrative. But don’t just narrow your focus to Internet marketing and information products there are plenty of other legit online money makers that could lend themselves well to your talents. How about web designing, freelance writing, paid online market research, online trading of physical products, commodities trading, affiliate marketing etc. The most important thing to remember list all of the possibilities that you think you would be capable of undertaking and then see which are best suited to your skills.

2. Once you have a basic idea of what your interested in doing and what best suits your established knowledge base you need to start considering if it’s a viable and legit online money making idea. Search for other similar existing businesses. How do they present themselves and how are they generating there income ? There are load of products out there offering you the chance to earn legit online money but check out the review sites first. Look on article sites for product reviews, forums, social networking sites. Ask others what they think (without giving your idea away for free of course). See if you can approach other business owners for any tips or advice. Remember people are usually pretty friendly and, if they are not willing or able to offer you some support you’ve lost nothing.

3. If you’ve decided that you have found the legit online money making concept that is best suited to you then it is time to start getting down to serious business of investigating it’s profit potential. Whilst it is important to do something you love and something which lends itself well to your skills and knowledge it’s all totally pointless if you can’t earn any money doing it (unless you just want to do it for love). Ideally you are either looking for something that has high demand but low competition (the Holy Grail of marketing) or something with a proven record of consistent payouts (such as the better paid survey systems). Keyword analysis and research is a huge subject, too big to do any justice here, but will be an important part of this process. Again research is key. In addition look on any forums linked to your chosen concept and see if others are making money and how. Remember those that are are your potential competitors but that doesn’t mean they wont have some sound advice if approached.

4. Having finalised your concept, evaluated its profit potential and investigated the competition for further ideas its time to get your business model finalised. In general terms an online business model will encompass a set of processes that produce a profitable result. Once you’re business model has proved itself successful you can then repeat this time and time again for an exponential growth of your legit online money making idea. Obviously this model will vary greatly depending upon your concept. For example, if you have decided that you are going to sell physical products then you may incorporate a specific sales letter or wholesaler as part of your model for success. Similarly if you’ve gone for affiliate marketing as part of your model you may have a set of promotional strategies that you know work well and that you can repeat for a variety of products. The point is that no matter what your concept your business model should be profitable and repeatable. However it is also vital that your model is adaptable to the ever changing and evolving online market. Any decent legit online money maker will be subject to an ongoing process of testing and evaluation. It is so important in online business to continually develop and test new ideas. Discard the ones that don’t work and incorporate the successful ones into your model for success.

5. This may mean a rather stupid thing to say but you certainly wont have a legit online money making business if you don’t actually take the plunge and start doing it. So many people spend considerable amounts of time dreaming about the possibility of earning a much better income, endlessly researching and planning but never actually producing anything. It is true that there are a lot of bad, money sapping, scams out there but there are also a vast number that are genuine and represent fantastic opportunities. All too often people listen to there friends and families who, knowing next to nothing about the realities of building a legit online money making business, are more than happy to tell you that you are wasting your time. Have you ever considered getting into a home based business? The mere thought of trying to create a stream of income on the Internet sends chills down the spines of most average human beings. Making money online is simply not considered possible for “the average joe” these days. There are 2 main reasons why people don’t take the first step into online business. So, how does a newcomer to online business start the process of jumping aboard the money-making train? Let’s start with finances. How much money do we want to fork over to get this train moving? Just because the start up costs are cheap does not mean you will be saving money. In fact, most of the time just the opposite is true, you will be wasting money. Generally speaking, I would stay away from eBooks and “how to” courses that you download off the net. Sure they are cheap, but you’ve heard the saying, “Ya get what ya pay for” right? Well, there’s a reason why they say that. It’s usually true! And in a lot of cases, these things are just outright frauds. With these products you will get your download and then a pat on the back by the seller saying “See ya later!”, then you are basically on your own. So, what happens when there’s something there you don’t understand? What happens if you are unfamiliar with the terminology being used? What happens if you’re like me, and don’t have the patience to analyze page after page of bone-dry text? I can’t count the number of eBooks, get rich quick schemes, and outright scams I have bought online. Then I sat there scratching my head, blinking like an owl, wondering why it didn’t work for me. 

The problem with most of these quick download products is that they don’t provide any kind of support structure, whether it be online, phone or email (all three would be ideal). And that is exactly what a neophyte needs when getting involved in a home based business for the first time. The beginner needs someone that knows what they are doing to give them some backup if they get stuck. If you want to get into a worthy online venture which has a good support network, you will have to make a moderate investment. Good news is, it will not necessarily suck your bank account down to the last drop. Almost anyone can afford some of the effective programs that are on the net these days. 

Now let’s get down to some nuts and bolts. To make any substantial amount of money online you will absolutely need to have a website. And what’s more, you are going to need something to sell with your website. Now don’t panic. You will not need to design and build your own website from scratch unless you really want to. In which case, I say go ahead and give it a try. Just be warned, it takes time and knowledge to build a good website from the ground up. But there are alternatives if you are like me and would rather let somebody else do the “heavy lifting.” I suggest looking for one of the many opportunities on the web that will provide you a website and a product to sell with that website. 

Bear with me now, I’m going to rattle off a few things here. If you have ever heard the phrase “turnkey website”, you may be familiar with one of, if not the premier way for beginners to make money online. A turnkey website is a website that is largely already set up and ready to go, with maybe just some minor customizing needing to be made. Think of it this way, it’s like a house that has already been furnished with everything you would need for living in it. All you have to do is move in and rearrange the furniture the way you like, or maybe paint the walls a different color. In a lot cases, these turnkey websites are provided by companies running their own affiliate programs. An affiliate program is where you enter into an agreement with a company to advertise a product or service for them and in return receive a commission when you sell that product or service. Thus, you would be an affiliate of that company. These turnkey affiliate programs are an ideal way for beginners to get started in Internet marketing because the buyer is set up with a fully functional website ready to make sales online; and the investment required is relatively small. There are thousands of people making money online right now with turnkey website-based affiliate programs. Just Google “affiliate programs” or “turnkey websites” and see what you find.

Another way many rookies make money online are direct-sales programs. In direct-sales programs the new webmaster is given a pre-built website and a product to sell with that website. I know that a lot of survey sites want you to fill in your phone, address, etc to other sites. I don’t mind giving it to the company thats paying me to fill out surverys but I dont want to be receiving a bunch of junk in the mail and email from these other sites.
